Yoga

Inspired by a lifetime immersion within the spirit that is always of yoga, I have spent recent years committing deeply to a study of the roots and the moving Asana that is this exquisite physical practice.

I feel fortunate to have had a lifetime of exposure to the many branches of wisdom that are revealed in all schools of Yoga.  As a Yoga Alliance Certified instructor I have completed several 200 hour Yoga Immersions and Teacher Trainings. These were led by master teachers Skeeter Tichnor and Amy Ippoliti of 90 Monkeys. My learning has included training in the methodical application of Feldenkrais for physical healing and well being.

True yoga is lived off the mat. It is in the world that we need our yoga practice the most. Here all the offerings of yoga become embodied teachings to offer new solutions to create the kind of world we wish to live in.

While stability and alignment are key, I emphasize moving in ways which are deeply nurturing and supportive to the soul and spirit invoking the embodied poetry within the heart of every Asana's physical form. My practice is rooted in the offering of a deeply authentic heart and a genuine knowledge of subtle but powerful tools for achieving more balance within the body, naturally encouraging mental and emotional well-being.
